1.1 Donations

Please read terms and conditions prior to making donation.

  1. Your payment is considered a donation to the charity and is not refundable. The following terms and conditions are for donations being made for a charity tour;

  2. Your place on the tour has not been confirmed until payment has been received.

  3. If there are multiple people traveling in your group, you may make one payment i.e. 3 people $6300.

  4. If you are not able to attend the tour after making the donation we will do our best to find someone to take your place on the tour you were booked on. If we are able to fill your place we will do our best to get you onto another tour as soon as possible.

  5. If the tour is cancelled due to exceptional circumstances outside of our control you will be given an option to attend a future tour or be refunded in full.

  6. LoveHeart.org does not keep any of the donations. 100% of your donation goes to the charity. Due to this LoveHeart does not have payment facilities set up, below are details on how to pay your donation directly to the charity.

  7. You will get a receipt for your payment from John Fawcett Foundation who are registered as Tax Deductible Status (DGR) in Australia and may be able to use this for tax purposes (please seek more advice from your accountant for further information and eligibility).

1.2 Insurance

  1. It is a condition of ticket purchase that every Guest must have adequate and appropriate travel insurance. This must include cover for travel, cancellation and full and valid medical cover for pre-existing medical conditions in the countries that the participant is due to visit, and which must remain in force for the entire duration of the tour. The insurance policy(ie) must, as a minimum, include medical and repatriation coverage for not less than 2 million AUD and must include cover for the cost of emergency evacuations, including but not limited to, evacuations by helicopter. It is the participants responsibility to ensure that adequate and appropriate insurance is in place for the entire duration of the tour.

  2. Wherever possible, LoveHeart will offer general assistance to any participant who suffers illness, personal injury or death during the period of the tour, whether or not arising from an activity forming part of the tour and whether or not the result of fault by any party.

  3. Any cost or expense which is reasonably incurred by LoveHeart for or on behalf of the participant in respect of any form of medical, dental or similar treatment, hotel, transportation, repatriation or any other expense shall be repayable by the participant to LoveHeart, whether or not such sum is covered by the participant's travel insurance. LoveHeart reserves the right to take any action that it considers appropriate to recover any such cost or expense.

1.3 Definitions

Participant:

A person who takes part in a charity tour.
