Who We Are
LoveHeart.org was created by Casandra Lyons. Based on the Gold Coast of Australia, Cass discovered the joy of actively participating in charitable programs as result of working with the John Fawcett Foundation in Bali on a tour in 2019.
Rather than just giving money she knew it was important for people to see where their money was going and to meet the people whose lives would be changed as a result.
From the very first tour, she became hooked and have since lead several tours into Indonesia with the goal of helping westerners understand the impact that even a little money can make when partnering with the right charitable organisations.
Her son Joshua Lyons was also impacted by his first tour in 2019 and has since become involved in running LoveHeart.
Josh created an e-commerce business rstora.com where with every purchase a donation is made to the tours LoveHeart facilitates to restore sight to the blind. His goal is to grow the business and create significant recurring funding to be able to expand the charity tours, supporting more causes and to other destinations.
Furthermore to create an ongoing and lasting awareness to the charity work Josh has designed his product packaging with photos from the tours of the blind people receiving the gift of sight.
He is wanting to create a place that even through consumerism we can all choose to be part of making a change to someone's life.
